Named after the closest deep sea buoy (R10) known amongst local boaters, paddlers and seafarers of all kinds (especially the seal variety) as a meeting spot, R/10 Social House is the ideal meeting spot on land. In a spacious 2-floor setting of reclaimed chic with nautical nods, guests can find a scenic spot for a quick bite or linger over a meal while taking in panoramic waterfront views and indulging in picture-perfect California sunsets. Upstairs, the Chesterfield Lounge harkens back to a bygone era showcasing a vintage bar and craft spirits where the suspenders behind the bar are always ready to pour you a classic or house cocktail.
Since Southern California affords us the luxury of diversity, we’re able to select farm produce that may have a brief season and use them at their peak. Our menu showcases impeccably sourced ingredients from local farms with high standards of sustainability and organic cultivation. We know exactly where our food comes from and how it gets to your table. Crafting dishes and cocktails with unexpected, seasonal ingredients from scratch while using modern kitchen techniques is just what we love to do. And our passion for delivering meaningful experiences to our guests is at the heart of R/10 Social House.
While the phrase "farm-to-table" gets tossed around a lot these days, it's a concept we take seriously. We’re dedicated to the relationships we have with our farmers and to using their best ingredients at their peak freshness. We source produce from farmers' markets in the Los Angeles area and also feature exclusive vegetables and fruit from Chino Farms in San Diego.
Our dairy, poultry and meat come from local California farmers and ranchers. Our seafood is caught by local fishermen who use sustainable practices. We source locally whenever possible, unless something special from outside of Cali happens to catch our eye.
We're a 'Soup-to-Nuts' kind of kitchen. Cooking from scratch with modern culinary techniques is what we love to do. From our house pickling program, curing meats, developing our own cheese, sauces, condiments, ice creams and baking bread, we believe in carefully crafting everything in house.
We have a passion for crafting cocktails with the best ingredients, the finest spirits and exceptional methods. The suspenders behind the bar aren't just slingers but take the right steps to mix you a well-balanced drink. We start every day by squeezing our own citrus.
We concoct many of our own syrups, tinctures, bitters and shrubs. We're methodical about how we shake, stir, ice and garnish to guarantee the perfect mix. Why go to such 'extremes'? Because we believe in giving you a cocktail made the right way. Alongside our classic and house cocktails, we've put together a selection of craft beers and great value wines - plus Fernet-Branca on tap!
